On the other hand, there are other things besides food that I consider scrumptious. I've mentioned before I am a paper addict and I would use scrumptious to describe these paper collections:
From my favorite, Little Women |
The Master Detective series |
Sometimes I love the look of the paper so much I don't want to use it! I'm slowly getting out of that habit.
Well, wait, this is scrumptious too!
How about you? Ever consider something besides food scrumptious? Share!
Hi, Janet!
ReplyDeleteAs I recently revealed, I share your love of paper, and along with it goes a love of art, particularly vintage art. I admire the images and color combinations on your papercrafting collections and would have no problem calling them "scrumptious," plus they don't add inches to the waistline. :)
To me a great recording could be called scrumptious. I had a friend in England a few years ago. She and her English daughter taught me that the British modify the word scrumptious into "scrummy" when describing something delicious to eat. Are you familiar with that slang word?
Have a wonderful weekend, dear friend Janet!
Yes, Shady! I can think of a few songs that I would call scrummy as well. I think I have heard that slang word before, I watch a fair amount of British TV (Sherlock Holmes, Downton Abbey, etc.) I have some even prettier papers but I was in a hurry to get this post done so I just used pictures that were already in my computer. As always, thanks so much for taking the time to visit me my friend.
