A bunch of yellow ducks adorn the front of this card made to celebrate the birth of a baby in the family. I really like the colors and they could be for either a boy or a girl, although truthfully I think boy when I see it. Is that gender typing?
There is a yellow ribbon down the front as well to give a little dimension.
As always room to write inside and the envelope has a boat to match.
Simple one today. Trying my best to keep up until I have some time on the weekend. Check the Etsy site to see more pictures. Make sure to catch up with others on the A to Z train and come back tomorrow for "E."
A precious little duckie. I think perfect for any little one.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Deborah.
DeleteI couldn't help but sigh, "Awwwww" when I saw your Duckie card. So cute!
ReplyDeleteThanks Trudy! That's just the reaction I hope for.
DeleteSo cute. I agree, it does "say" boy, maybe it's the bluish circle around the duck. Boy or girl, I'm sure the parent would love to receive it as a carrier of a welcoming message.
ReplyDeleteThanks Nita.
DeleteOh that is just ducky. Love it My letter D
ReplyDeleteThanks Jackie. Off to check yours!
DeleteThe Dickie is cute and the colours are great especially for. Boy.
ReplyDeleteThanks Birgit.
DeleteNegotiating "Gender typing" can be a bit of a minefield. It's a cute card and with no direct reference to boy or girl surely it has to be gender neutral? Anyway, it's still a cute card!
ReplyDeleteRight, Wendy. My daughter tells me all the time that colors don't matter anymore.
