June is Just so…

Unpredictable. On Wednesday I happened to notice a post on Facebook, or maybe it was Instagram, about a pop-up craft fair that was going on in a little corner of our city. I jumped on the chance to get my creations out in public again. Last year with no craft shows was really difficult.

All together there were 7 of us and I managed to sell some Father’s Day things and baby items. It was warm but not too hot. I got the hat for Christmas a few years ago and I think it was perfect for the day.

Not a bad picture either. I didn’t do my usual elaborate display because it was only for four hours but I learned some tricks for next time. Fun day. There were a lot of positive comments and I got to see some people I hadn’t seen in a long time and met some new folks. I’d say it was a hit.

Thanks again to Linda and her Stream of Consciousness Saturday prompt of hat/het/hit/hot/hut.

  1. Hi, Janet!

I'm delighted to see this picture of you stationed at your "A smile 4 U from Janet" table at an actual craft fair. It's been too long! You looked neato in your hat and shades, and the table was well stocked with your creations. Looks like the weatherman cooperated with a bright sunny day for the event. I'm happy to know you sold a few Dad's Day and baby items, received favorable feedback and made some new contacts. I hope this is only the beginning, and that you will be setting up your kiosk at many more fairs, both outdoor and indoor, throughout the year.

Enjoy the rest of your weekend, dear friend Janet, and happy Father's Day to your hubby!

    1. Hi my friend! It felt so good to be outside and sharing my wares. There was just a little wind at times but not enough to blow my cards away. I think that the concept got such a good reception from everyone that it may happen a few more times. The kids are taking their dad to lunch today. I'm going to stay home and let them "bond." LOL. Have a spectacular week.

  2. Glad it was a hit at the craft fair and that you saw people you knew. It's great how things are slowly getting back to normal.

    1. It was wonderful, Natalie. I am hoping that because it was so well received it will happen more often.
