Nifty November – 2020

Well, this month is almost gone. Hope everyone had a safe and happy Thanksgiving yesterday. Ours looked like this:

I have been busy working fortunately but found some time to make some new gift card holders for the holidays. Aren’t they cute?

Mittens
Snowmen
Christmas Trees
The top swivels on a brad and opens so you can put the gift card in the slot.

They each have a matching envelope and are up on the Etsy shop now.   I need to figure out how to do a virtual holiday boutique!  Maybe I’ll figure out how to use this WP again too.  The pictures are giving me fits, but you get the idea.

  1. Hi, Janet!

That's a wonderful family group picture to remember Thanksgiving 2020 in a scrapbook, dear friend. It's good to see all those smiling faces, especially yours.

I like your colorful and well crafted holiday gift card holders. Snowmen have always been a favorite symbol of the holidays. Your collection reminds me of the many snowmen and snow animals I built when I lived up north in PA. I can imagine your quartet singing "Frosty." The beautiful trees also bring back fond memories of Christmas past. I appreciate the clever snowman who tips his hat. With matching envelopes available for all items in your collection, I am sure these ornamental crafts will sell well.

Don't feel badly. Ever since Blogger changed its interface, I too have had difficulty arranging pictures and blocks of text.

I'm happy to know that you and your family had a nice Thanksgiving. So did we. Mrs. Shady prepared a nice turkey feast for the three of us and she also made pumpkin pie and another pie containing three different fruits. They are delicious.

Have a safe and enjoyable weekend, dear friend Janet!

    1. Thanks for stopping by my friend! I think I have only built a real snowman once in my life when I was just a teen and we went to the snow for the day. I, too, indulged in some pie on Thanksgiving but because most of us in this house are trying to watch what we eat, we ordered single slices so as not to have leftovers to be tempted by. I had marionberry. It was delicious! Now it's back to counting carbs and calories for a while. I got an Etsy sale today, so the weekend will be spent replenishing the stock. Stay safe out there!

There's a giveaway on my blog that ends today, if you're interested.
