February Fling - 2019

I think I found a song that will work for both Song Lyric Sunday (ocean/sea/lake/bay) and Love is in Da Blog's "kitsch" love song.  To be honest, I had to look up what kitsch meant.  Hopefully I got it right.

What do you think?  Will that work?

It's Super Bowl Sunday.  I don't really care about football except that my husband is in several pools so I want whoever makes us the money to win.  For the last six or eight years we've been going to a friend's house to watch the game.  It is a pot luck and everybody brings something.  Not sure what we're going to take today - I let my hubby decide that.  I am an introvert and even though they are friends, I get a little anxious every time we go.  Still, I'm the good wife and I know my husband likes  me there so what I usually do is bring some sort of craft to work on.  Today it will probably be some coloring.  What are you going to do during the game today?

    Well I hope you enjoy the superbowl. I understand about social situations being stressful. I think colouring will keep you calm although the atmosphere generally might be a bit exciteable. I think they're probably showing the superbowl here but I won't be watching
    (even if it was at a more sensible time!)

      The commercials are sometimes pretty good and I like Maroon 5 but we'll see. I'd rather be at home in my craft room but...

    Hi, Janet - I was at a Superbowl Party yesterday but was only there for the friends, food, entertainment and commercials! Fun post!

      I can't believe how bad that game was. I mean, even though I am not a real fan, a lot of times I can get minimally involved. This one was SO bad and even the half time show was not very good IMO. Really glad I had my coloring to do!

    I have no feelings on sports. Snookums did let me cook outside over the fire though, and that went well, and then we celebrated and... From what I hear, I scored more than the two teams in the big game.
