March Madness - One Liner Wednesday - Drive Quote

"Always focus on the front windshield and not the rearview mirror."  Colin Powell.

Easy to say but sometimes hard to do, hindsight being 20/20 and all.  I've been reflecting a bit about how I lived my life for the last 65 years.  A birthday can make you do that.  The bad news is, I can see some mistakes.

The good news is, I can see some mistakes.  I can't take them away but I can try to be more aware of things I do now and try to stop them before they happen, or acknowledge them and ask for patience.

And I can focus on the windshield and not the rearview mirror.  This is what I saw out the windshield last night.  Isn't the sky gorgeous?

Just Jot January - 2020 - One-Liner Wednesday Edition

So glad we get to combine posts on some days!  Makes keeping up so much easier.  For today's #JusJoJan and #OLW I submit:

"What is waiting for me in the direction I don't take?"   Jack Kerouac

Interesting question, I think, although it could lead to a whole lot of "What ifs" and that might not be productive.  I think one of Jack Kerouac's books is on my scratch off chart.  Have you read him?

Just Jot January - 2020 - One Liner Wednesday

Today is a combo with One-Liner Wednesday.  This is one of my favorite pictures of myself and I think it fits perfectly with my word of the year, Drive.

"No one can drive us crazy unless we give them the keys."  Douglas Horton

I'm not giving up my keys (or in this case, my feet!)

Must Be May - 2019 - One Liner Wednesday

The April A to Z is over for this year except for the recap on May 6 and time spent visiting people I didn't get a chance to see during the month.  Therefore, it must be May.  Typically it is a less active blog-wise month for most of us who participated in the A to Z as we gather our strength.  I'm going to try to remain a presence as much as I can.  There is the Stream of Consciousness Saturday, Song Lyric Sunday and One-Liner Wednesday so I just need to think of something for the rest of the days.  Maybe I'll start something new!

Today being Wednesday, here is my one-liner...

"If anyone needs me, I'll be in my studio!"
